Everyone who has asked me for a book recommendation in the past three years has heard me say: PACHINKO by @minjinlee11. This essay, like all her work, is brilliant, sublimely thoughtful, love-filled, galvanizing, potent. Thank you, Min Jin Lee, for the gift of your writing.
